Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 1, 2026

Overview

Catholic Faith Path is a static content website. Our purpose is to provide faith-based guidance, prayer, and spiritual reflection for people navigating difficult seasons of life. Protecting the privacy of our visitors is important to us. This policy explains clearly and honestly what data we collect, how we use it, and what we do not do with it.

Personal Data We Collect

We do not collect, store, or process any personal data from visitors to this website. We have no user accounts, no contact forms that store submissions, no comment sections, and no email list sign-ups on this site. If you contact us directly by email (see below), only the information you voluntarily include in that message is received by us, and we do not store it in any database or third-party CRM.

Analytics — Plausible Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our content. Plausible is a privacy-first analytics tool that is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. It does not use cookies, does not track individual users across sessions, and does not build profiles of individual visitors. The data it collects is limited to aggregate statistics such as page views, referral sources, and general geographic region (country level only).

Because Plausible does not set cookies or collect personally identifiable information, no cookie consent banner is required for our analytics under EU privacy regulations. You can review Plausible's own privacy policy at plausible.io/privacy.

Advertising — Google AdSense

Catholic Faith Path displays advertisements through Google AdSense. Google AdSense uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites across the internet. This enables Google and its partners to show you interest-based advertisements.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. For more information on how Google uses data when you use our site, please see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Cookies

Catholic Faith Path does not set any first-party tracking or marketing cookies. The Plausible Analytics script does not set any cookies either. However, Google AdSense may set third-party cookies on your device to serve and personalise advertisements. You can manage these preferences through Google Ads Settings or your browser's cookie settings.

Third-Party Services

We use Plausible Analytics (privacy-first, no cookies — see Analytics section above) and Google AdSense (advertising — see Advertising section above). We do not use affiliate tracking, social media pixels, or retargeting scripts of any other kind. Our site is hosted on infrastructure that may log standard server access logs (IP address, timestamp, request) for security and uptime purposes; these logs are not used for analytics or marketing.

External Links

Our content may include links to external websites — for example, links to official Church documents, Scripture resources, or professional support services. Once you leave Catholic Faith Path, this privacy policy no longer applies. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any external sites you visit.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have rights under applicable data protection law, including the right to access, rectify, or erase any personal data we hold about you, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we collect minimal personal data (only email correspondence initiated by you), exercising these rights in practice means contacting us by email and we will respond promptly.

Children's Privacy

Catholic Faith Path is a general audience content website. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since we collect no personal data at all, there is nothing to collect from minors either. Google AdSense is instructed not to serve personalised advertising to children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
